Her name is Yolanda Piccardo! (I'll never forget her name hahahaha). She was the oldest, the strictest and the scariest teacher in my high school! When I was a 7th grader, I was really scare of her! She always started her classes yelling at us! She was so bitter! No one in the entire high school wanted to have classes with her! hahahaha but we had no choice, because she was the only teacher who was in charge of "Historia Universal" hahaha. My high school was very small, that is why we only had that choice!. And when you thought that you won't see her again next year, she will be your teacher in another subject! hahaha yeah, she was a very complete teacher!. I have to admit that I spent all my high school being afraid of her! I felt afraid everytime I had to talk to her. In her classes, no one said a word, unless she asked us something! We were like in a military school in each of her classes! but because of that she was the most respected teacher in my high school! After of being afraid of her, in my last year I started to analize her, and I discovered that she was an excellent person, she was like that just because she wanted to teach us respect! And she did! I remember that I had the best grades in her subjects because of that! Somehow she made me a better student! She pushed us to the limit in every aspect of our lives! And after being my scary teacher, she became one of my favorite teachers! I have had more teachers like her, but she is always in my mind beacuse she had to work with teenagers, and I believe that is the worst stage of a person's life! Which made her job a lot more difficult!
I remember I had a teacher like that on 4th grade she was so strict she even hit most of the students with a ruler (I don't remember If she hit me too) many people called her "the general". What other subjects did she taught? you are a former teacher, were you like that with your students?
ReplyDeleteShe also taught me Social Studies, Phychology and Venezuelan History. I never was like that with my students, I am the cool but strict teacher! I do not believe that you have to be mean, you just have to be strict.
DeleteI know what that is. I also had a terrifying teacher at my school, but the good thing about them is that they teach us a lot. Do your friends also noticed as she was? or still thinking she is a witch hahaha.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha some of them still think she is a witch! hahahaha but we finished High School almost 8 years ago, I think they should know now that she is just a regular person like us!
